CLEVELAND, Ohio – For those looking to go out on Christmas Eve and / or Christmas Day, we offer a guide to what is open, closed and booked.

While many restaurants across Northeast Ohio remain closed for the holiday, others cutting across many different cuisines will be open to serve you. If you want a break from cooking or entertaining, options exist. Our list covers fine dining to casual and everything in between.

Reminder: Christmas Eve is Friday, Dec. 24. Christmas Day is Saturday, Dec. 25.

Always call ahead to check about reservations and availability as well as Covid vaccinations/mask policies. The pandemic has created staffing and health and safety issues that can alter restaurant hours or prompt temporary closures.

Our list also includes places that have non-dining hours only – pickup, for instance – as well as those that are booked already. We also list hours for grocery stores, in case you need to scoot out for those cranberries you forgot.
