Historic Port Resort owners strategy to redesign rooms, open restaurant

The new house owners of a historic assets and restaurant in Port Washington have purchased Port Resort, and they have plans to modernize its rooms, put in an elevator and serve food and beverages there.

The new house owners are Angel Tello, owner of Tello’s Grille and Catering, and Jim Read, architect and proprietor of the Hoffmann Property. They purchased the Port Resort for $755,000.

The historic hotel was shown on the market in August for $750,000. In February, RSF Investments LLC obtained the developing from Port Washington Condition Bank.
